PTSA Update

 PTSA Executive Committee

President - Kelly McLendon
1st VP - Joanne Simone
2nd VP - Melissa Williams
Treasurer - Sasha Mauck
Secretary - Sheila Morens

PTSA, along with Hagerty’s new principal, Dr. Williams are moving forward in “Writing Our Next Chapter.” Together we will continue to advocate for all students, parents and teachers, as well as promoting collaboration in education. Your support through membership is a primary source of funding for many activities and programs which are needed now, more than ever, as all schools face difficult budget issues.

PTSA membership allows you to support these programs and more:   Through your generous support and membership to HHS PTSA, we have been able to award Scholarships to HHS Seniors, fund classroom needs through the Wishing Well Grant Program, offer Student Assistance, support National Education Week activities,  the arts in education through the PTA Reflections Program Teacher Appreciation Week, and School Beautification Projects at HHS.

Please consider joining HHS PTSA! Make your membership and support a priority this year!  Click here for a membership form

Senior Activities, School Store, PTSA Committee Positions...these are a few areas in need of parent volunteers for the 2014-2015 school year.  HHS PTSA would like to invite you to join us in getting a jump start on the planning!  Anyone wishing to be involved is encouraged to contact Kelly McLendon at  kemc727@gmail.com describing their area(s) of interest.

These groups are "parent based" and cannot exist without you!  Let us know what you would like to do to support and celebrate our awesome students and staff!

HHS PTSA won the Seminole County PTA Program of the Year. We were awarded this for our ASD Job training Program that allows the students to work in the School Store and learn valuable skills both social and life skills. It also allows our other students who may not ever have an opportunity to get to know these amazing kids as well!
