Information for the 2026-2027 school year

We are excited to start working with students on course registration for the upcoming school year! 

Current HHS students will see the registration video during science, but if they miss it or if families want to watch it, the video links are posted below.

Current and incoming Hagerty students can use the planning forms to make sure they are taking the required courses and plan out their electives. Students should review the Grad Reqs tab in Skyward to ensure they are selecting the necessary credits to meet graduation requirements.

School Counselors will be meeting individually with current students during the month of February. If a student is absent during their scheduled meeting, they will be able to meet with their counselor at a later time. After spring break, counselors will be meeting with incoming freshman at Lawton Chiles and Jackson Heights Middle Schools to ensure their courses are entered in Skyward.

Current SCPS students who are zoned for Hagerty but not attending LCMS or JHMS may email their course request forms to their assigned Hagerty counselor.

Current SCPS students not zoned for HHS but wishing to transfer to Hagerty should review the SCPS Student Assignment and Program Access page for information on options and deadlines. Once a transfer has been approved, families will receive information on how to submit their course requests.

Students who will be new to SCPS in the fall should visit the SCPS Enrollment Resources page to begin the enrollment process. 

Please be patient with us as our counselors will be meeting with over 2000 students. We may be delayed in responding to emails and phone calls during registration. Our priority will be to ensure that every student has course requests in Skyward for the upcoming school year. 

Registration Timeline

January

• Students will watch registration videos in  science classes the week of January 20, 2026.

  February

• Hagerty school counselors will be meeting with current Hagerty students to ensure their course requests are in Skyward. Teachers will share class visit dates soon.

  • 9^th graders via English 1 classes

  • 10th-11th graders via social studies classes

  March

• Hagerty school counselors will be meeting with incoming freshman students at LCMS and JHMS after spring break.
